Our Origin
We embrace the future with open arms.
Our logo embodies the historical significance and essence of our property, breaking down its meaning as follows:
Θ: The outer perimeter of the logo draws inspiration from the Greek letter θ (theta), which also holds relevance to the Greek word “θερος” (meaning “summer”).
Stone: The stone in the logo symbolizes the heritage of our property. The stone-built house carries a sense of timelessness and durability, reflecting the rich history of the building.
Quince: Positioned at the heart of the logo, the quince—known as “κυδωνι” (Cydonia) in Greek—takes on a prominent role. Quinces carry cultural and symbolic weight in Greek history, cuisine, and mythology. In our logo, it operates as a profound connection to Cydonia.
Cydonia, Ancient Chania Connection: Referencing an ancient city, Cydonia also alludes to the former name of Chania, a significant city in Crete. This linkage serves as a bridge between the past and the present, forging a connection between our property and the historical legacy of the region.
Colors: The logo’s colors harmonize seamlessly with those adorning the façade of the building.
In essence, the logo encapsulates the historical roots of the stone-built house while paying homage to the ancient name of Chania through the representation of the quince. It’s a visual embodiment of the history, culture, and heritage that our property carries, inviting those who see it to connect with the layers of significance it holds.
